  • 3 cups milk

  • 2 cardamom pods

  • 1 tablespoon rose water

  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads

  • 100 grams heavy cream

  • 3 tablespoons gelatin powder

  • 1/4 cup cold water


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, cardamom pods, rose water, and saffron threads.

  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the milk reaches a temperature of 140-150 degrees Fahrenheit (60-70 degrees Celsius).

  3. Remove from heat and stir in the heavy cream.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the gelatin powder and cold water.

  5. Microwave the gelatin mixture for 10-15 seconds, or until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

  6. Whisk the gelatin mixture into the milk mixture until well combined.

  7. Pour the mixture into a serving dish or mold and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.


  • For a richer flavor, use full-fat milk.

  • You can also add other spices to the dessert, such as cinnamon or nutmeg.

  • Serve the dessert with a side of fresh fruit or whipped cream.
