Indulge in a moment of pure bliss with this Saffron Latte. This luxurious beverage is a symphony of flavours and textures, offering a sensory experience that is both comforting and invigorating.

The rich, creamy milk is infused with the warm, exotic aroma of saffron, creating a taste that is both familiar and exciting.

The addition of espresso adds a bold and invigorating layer of flavour, while the foamed milk provides a velvety texture that is simply irresistible.


  • 1 cup whole milk (preferably)

  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads

  • 2 teaspoons sugar or honey (to taste)

  • 2 cardamom pods

  • 2 shots of espresso

  • Additional saffron, cardamom, and sugar for garnish (optional)


  1. In a small saucepan, combine the milk, saffron threads, sugar or honey, and cardamom pods.

  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the milk reaches a temperature of 140-150 degrees Fahrenheit (60-70 degrees Celsius).

  3. Remove from heat and use a French press or hand mixer to froth the milk.

  4. Pour the milk into a mug and top with the espresso.

  5. Garnish with additional saffron, cardamom, and sugar, if desired.


  • For a richer flavor, use full-fat milk.

  • If you don't have a French press, you can use a hand mixer or a blender to froth the milk.

  • You can adjust the amount of sugar or honey to your taste.

  • For a more intense saffron flavor, steep the saffron threads in warm milk for a few minutes before adding them to the saucepan.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
