Saffron and Cheese Dessert: A Taste of Heaven

The dessert is also very easy to make, requiring just a few simple ingredients, making it perfect for a last-minute treat or a delightful ending to a special meal.


Ingredients:


  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese


Instructions:


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together egg, sugar or honey, and vanilla extract.

  3. Add cream cheese and whisk until smooth.

  4. Pour mixture into a small baking dish.

  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly jiggly.

  6. Let cool slightly before serving.



Tips:


  • You can also add other flavours to the dessert, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, or cardamom.

  • Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream.

  • This dessert can also be made in the microwave. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly jiggly.
