  • A pinch of saffron threads

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 teaspoon of black tea leaves

  • 1 teaspoon of rose petals (optional)

  • Sugar or honey to taste (optional)


  1. Steep the saffron threads in hot water for a few minutes to release their flavour and color.

  2. Add the tea leaves and rose petals to the water and bring to a boil.
